"Ephraim Afterglow"
Dianne Saron
Dianne Saron has worked primarily in black and white
portraiture. After moving to Door County in 2001,
Saron was overwhelmed by the colorful landscape and
nature scenes. Attending Mary Bosman's art classes,
Dianne Saron discovered a new love for pastels to
compliment the beauty surrounding her. Dianne
comments, "The breathtaking winter skies that seem to
be on fire, or the light as it reflects on water and
rocks just beg to be painted."

She has since studied with artists Franne Dickinson,
Margaret Lockwood, Bonita Budysz, Colette Odya Smith,
Nina Weiss, Sandra Place and Emmett Johns as well as
continues to work with and learn from Mary.

Dianne is a member of the Peninsula Art School Gallery
Committee and is the program chairman for the Door
    County Art League.

Her painting "Sunrise at the Sunset Resort on
Washington Island" won honorable mention while showing
    at Dal Santos Restaurant.

The painting "Stepping Stones" was juried into the
Wall to Wall Hardy Exhibit this year.

Her work can to seen at the Bosman Studio/Gallery in
    Sturgeon Bay on Oxford Street.

"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking
new landscapes, but in having new eyes." - Marcel Proust
