My background in art began as a child when I would spend countless hours
drawing, and continued into high school art classes. I went on to study
Commercial Art at Wichita State University, before becoming a Doctor of
Chiropracty and opening several successful private practices.
For 30 years I have had to focus on the more practical aspects of my career,
but now I am able to return to painting with an unmitigated passion.
'We paint to delight the eye'.
That simple goal of 'delighting the eye' is why I'll get up tomorrow and with
friends will search for the perfect painting location, waiting for the good light,
and try to put it on paper.
Seemingly simple, yet profound...
