"Little Sister Resort"
Rich Delcarson
I was born the youngest of 4 children on July 8th, 1927 in a town called
Redford, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan.

After high school and serving in the U.S. Navy (World War II) I
received my formal art training at Meinzinger Art School in Detroit,
prior to entering the Commercial Art Field (1949) for 40 years, - as an
Illustrator in Studios (Detroit, MI) - as a Art Director in an Advertising
Agency (San Francisco, CA) - as an Account Executive and Illustrator
in Studios (Chicago, IL) - as a Designer/ Illustrator/ Account Executive
and President of my own Art Studio “Del Graphics” (Chicago & Oak
Brook, IL), which I had for 22 of the 40 Years.

My wife (Jane) and I were introduced to Door County in 1966 – we
liked it immediately and continued to spend time in the summers here
ever since, culminating with our move to live here year-round in 1989
    in Fish Creek, Wisconsin.

Being and Illustrator in the Commercial Art Field for a number of years
has afforded me, what I believe to be, the discipline and preliminary
training to fully develop my truest interests – painting. To date I have
had very favorable reception with my work, and have been juried into
Wisconsin Art Exhibits with …The Hardy Gallery (Ephraim) - The
Miller Art Center (Sturgeon Bay) – The Door County Art League
(Baileys Harbor) – Snowstar Ltd Gallery (Fish Creek) – I also have
exhibited with The Jack Anderson Art Gallery and The Paint Box
    Gallery in Sister Bay.

I've had eight of my fine art paintings printed by Offset Lithographic
    process, which are now available.

I’m doing some experimental painting at the present time …and plan to
share some new work with you in the very near future. I’m also doing
    some commercial art for advertising.
