Arts and Crafts Fair in Ellison Bay
July 19 and 20, 2008
For any Art League member, who is interested in joining the Liberty Grove
Historical Society Art Fair in Ellison Bay on July 19-12, now is the time.
Registration will close on July 5.
If you are just now learning about this opportunity, this site is located in Ellison
Bay, on Highway 42 as you approach the hill north into town. It is at the Historical
Homestead /Century Farm. The exposure for exhibitors is great. They will be
adjacent to the highway and all parking is free. As exhibitors you can drive right
up to your space and unload. The Art League has reserved two spaces (tents) and
there is parking for artisans behind the big barn.
Criteria for this exhibit is open to artisans, who exhibit work of original concept,
design and execution. No kits or imports will be allowed. All items sold at the fair
must be handcrafted or handpainted. Items must be handmade by the exhibiting
artists. The Art League takes full responsibility for our display. Art League
members are not juried in by the Historical Society.
Our due date for registration is July 5.
Attached is the registration form. This must be returned with the $20 deposit fee

We are asking you to help pitch and strike the show. The tents will be up for two
days. You may decide to remove your artwork or other valuable items over night.
You will have enough display room for 4 or 5 paintings each .We have two tables or
you may furnish more. Bring along any display cases, etc. for your own use and
others to share.
As with all our outdoor exhibits we need to work together and take turns sitting
the show and to represent our work.

Fine Arts Festival
Saturday, August 9
This one-day show is sponsored by the Francis Hardy Center for the Arts. It is a
one-day, entity of several featured events. This year it will be located in Sister Bay
along the shoreline. The Art League has reserved 3 spaces (tents). Your
registration fee is $20.
We can accommodate 4 artists with wall-hung art, or more if anyone has extra
panels that we could use for the show. There are 2 tables that can be used for
crafts, etc. but could accommodate 4 tables if anyone has tables to loan for the event.
The Francis Hardy Center for the Arts committee asks each of the booth holders to
demonstrate their skill at making their art. We who are exhibiting may bring an
interactive demonstration or an individual skill to demonstrate. We are asked to
provide 3 demos, 2 times during the show. This Festival always brings large
crowds, and has carefully planned for a lot of fun, art, drama and food.
